Hungry hearts

Faith...that is my morning take-away.  I like the comfort of structure, the clarity of easily understood things to do.  So did the Pharisees and the Saduccees.  Jesus said requesting a 'sign' is the sign of an evil, adulterous generation.  Well, ouch. 

Walking by faith is not always comfortable.  The walk is in the midst of a world leavened by sin...infiltrated by doctrines of 'religion' and 'government.'  But being in the midst of something does not mean it needs to be in the midst of me!  Jesus continually pointed to the Father. 

Our hearts must be fixated by faith on the heart of the Father.  I know no way to do that other than in-depth study of the Word of God.  He has given us the Spirit to help us understand; He has given us His Word...that is to be what is within us that comes forth.  My prayer for each of you who read this is a passion for His Word that makes you hungry for scriptures to guide you.  Blessings!
