Walking well

Looking at a 'good' King of Judah reminded me:  seek God, praise God for times of peace and use them to build up others, cry out to God in difficult times, remember the battles are His, and trust His power and good purposes. 

The 'bad' King just did the things he wanted...as if life was about him and his pleasure.  We all have passions and dreams but there is no short-cut to 'good stuff.' The right way is always God's way for God's purposes.

Desire determines direction and destination...the safe way to get the right desires is to delight yourself in God's desires.
