My heart is burdened that others may have their thirst quenched by God's Word. One of my favorite commentators is J. Vernon McGee. He has a folksy voice and the glorious wisdom of God. His ministry offers many, many free resources. I am committing to study with him for this devotional series and encourage you to do the same. Here is the link for his notes and broadcasts. It is a five-year plan to teach us about the Word of God. It may slow the devotionals but the depth and beauty of God's Word can not be rushed. If you will commit to his study plan, let me know, won't you? As a portion of our Sunday morning worship service always reminds us: "God always blesses the reading of His Word."
