Deuteronomy: Chapter 12

While the Israelites had one place to worship, we Christians have One Person to worship.  In both cases, the goal was unity and purity in worship.  God grants us many blessings to enjoy, but we must always remember He is the Source.  We must go to Him to worship.  We must remember that life itself is precious--the Israelites were reminded of this every time they poured out the blood.  God calls us to obey Him alone--not our ideas of Him.
