Watched

What a lovely walk with the Spirit this morning!  Titus and Peter were my guides this morning.  My take-away is this:  Christians should look different than the world.  The scriptures reminded me that the way I live out my faith matters.  This life is the place to reveal faith.   God could have made salvation an evacuation process that whisked us up to heaven.  He did not. 

We are to live in a way that reveals Him--that reveals our new identity--to others traveling alongside us.  So what does that look like?  A life of faith includes submission to authority, sober (thoughtful) choices, sincere living that loves what He loves.  A life of faith shows that we treasure pleasing Him above pleasing our bodies--or even our souls. 

The Christian life of faith is rich beyond this world, but it is touchable and visible within this world.  Even the angels watch how we live out our lives.  We have been entrusted with an amazing opportunity.  It is beyond our human ability.  Let's tune into the Spirit and let Him control everything about our day.  To God be the glory!
