Thankfulness and Joy for the Mystery of Christ!

What a beautiful walk in the Word this morning.  Paul speaks of His thankfulness and prayers for others.  What a joy to 'be' both the others...and to 'be' the one who prays.  The faith and love which flows from receiving heaven's hope is a beautiful thing that should prompt thankfulness in our hearts. It is part of the glorious mystery of Jesus Christ living within us!  And that is something so grand, we can enjoy discovering new facets every day.

Paul says 'may the grace of Jesus Christ be in your spirit today.'  Think about that for a moment.  The glorious beauty of Christ:  What picture of Jesus pops into your mind as you pause to think about Him?  Perhaps the humbleness of a King who leaves his glorious palace for a smelly barn to seek and save folks who want to kill Him?  Maybe it is the passion that holds him captive to the will of the Father as He sweats drops of blood in Gethsemane. Or perhaps the grace that refuses to call in legions of angels to stop the whippings and crucifixion?  That grace is within those who believe.  Unimaginable, isn't it?  A mystery we are part of...stop and rejoice in that.

Paul prays that we those who receive that hope will hold onto it.  That they will grow in greater wisdom and understanding...grow into the fullness of Christ who is our all in all.  My prayer is you will find time today to read the beautiful words that talk about this mystery.  Here's a link for just that purpose:
