Three conversations with Jesus are on my heart this morning:
The leper said, "If You will, you can cleanse me." Jesus said, "I will." He still wills to cleanse us!
Jesus said, "I will have mercy, not sacrifice." He still wills to withhold what we deserve!
Jesus said, "I did not come for the righteous but to call sinners to turn toward me." He still says 'Walk this way!'
Christianity gets so complicated sometimes. Jesus 'simply' longs to restore us to the Father, to be merciful and guide hearts onto the path of life. As Jesus ministered, He periodically withdrew to spend time with the Father. We so desperately need to do the same. Spend time seeking the heart of the Father today!
