Consistency--and inconsistency--keeps popping up in my time with the Lord. This morning in Hosea 6, God is likened to the morning: faithful, consistent. His people paralleled to morning clouds and dew...momentary, transient. Doesn't it just make your heart rejoice to consider His patient perseverant pursuit of you and I?
I do love morning skies and the dew on the grass. Its design reflects the beauty of the one that consistently provides a place for it. I am learning to enjoy the moments as part of the essence of the eternal. May we all live more and more in the present -- for the eternal.
