While earthly death is truly entrance to eternity, it is a loss and grief in the earthly realm. There is a beautiful note in the commentary, though, that never occurred to me. The law prevented Moses from entering the land; but grace brought him into it with Jesus. What a joyous reminder for us as we trod this earthly realm! The law is our guide, our instructor but grace delivers us from bondage and enslavement. The law is good but Jesus is best!
A few of you have graciously indicated an interest in continued daily devotions...thank you. Since we have completed the first five books of the Old Testament, I would like to begin the first four books of the New Testament.
