Can you imagine how exciting this day must have been? The instructions, the obedience, the giving, the serving...all brought together in the fulfillment of God's plans. What a glorious time we have here on earth when we see things come together. When we arrive in heaven and see how many more things have worked in God's perfect plan, it will be unbelievably awesome!
The commentary I read reminded me that the book of Exodus opened with the Israelites in the gloomy brickyards of Egypt--but it closes in the glorious presence of God. The Israelites were the first peoples to be blessed with the very presence of God; we share that inheritance. God is with us today--willing to lead and guide us just as He did the Israelites. Like the Israelites, we have left the gloom of sin for the glory of God. Let's keep looking to Him day by day!
