Chapter 5 focused our eyes on personal integrity…this chapter takes the inward character and translates it to actions. A Christ-like character will do all for the glory of God. The giving of our money and time, our deepest communications with God, our very lives are all a matter of personal relationship with God.
We live before an audience of One….One who is holy and above this world. One who is worthy to dictate all that is done on earth and heaven. One who provides for us and protects us. Our life of faith is to be one of simplicity and one of deep sincerity. May we narrow our focus to the power and love of God that we will live in confident freedom--just as the birds of the air and the flowers of the field.
